The ninth volume of “Historical Notes” completes the publication of the translation of the work of the ancient Chinese historian Sima Qian (145-87 BC) into Russian. The volume contains the final 20 chapters of the last section of the monument - Le Zhuan ("Biographies"). Of exceptional interest are the chapters describing the life and social structure of the peoples of Central Asia, the Korean Peninsula, and Southern China (the ancestors of the Vietnamese). Ch. amazes with its depth and insight. 129, devoted to the history of business, macroeconomics and political economy of Ancient China. The historical material about the intimate life of the first Han emperors, contained in Chapter. 125, the true revelation is ch. 124, which tells the story of the economic and social power of ubiquitous clan-based criminal structures.

Дев'ятий том «Історичних записок» є справжнім скарбом для всіх, хто цікавиться історією та культурою Стародавнього Китаю. Переклад праці Сима Цяня надає можливість зануритися в глибини давньокитайського суспільства, його побуту та соціального устрою. Особливо вражають глави, що описують життя народів Центральної Азії та Корейського півострова, адже вони відкривають нові горизонти розуміння культурних зв'язків та впливів. Глава 129, присвячена бізнесу та макроекономіці, є справжнім одкровенням, яке демонструє, наскільки розвинутими були економічні концепції в той час. Також не можу не відзначити інтимні деталі з життя ханьських імператорів, які додають людяності та реалістичності до історії. Цей том не лише завершує серію, але й залишає враження про велич та складність давньокитайської цивілізації. Рекомендую всім, хто прагне глибше зрозуміти історію та культуру!
