The sixth volume of “Historical Notes” continues the translation of the work of the ancient Chinese historian Sima Qian (145-87 BC) into Russian. The translation is accompanied by scientific commentary and a study of the main problems of the history of the end of the first millennium BC. e. The sixth volume concludes the publication of the section “Shi Jia” (“Hereditary Houses”). The volume includes 20 chapters (41-60) of “Historical Notes”, including the history of the princely houses of Yue, Zheng, Zhao, Wei and Han, a description of the life of Confucius, the activities of the leader of the rebel peasants Chen She, a number of Han Wangs and statesmen: Xiao He , Hayu Can, Zhang Liang, etc.
