Conditions and procedure for the return of the purchased goods in the online store "Magicbook"

This procedure regulates the conditions for the return of purchased goods (books, other printed and printed products, etc.)

  1. According to Appendix No. 3 of the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of March 19, 1994 No. 172, in accordance with the provisions of the current legislation of Ukraine, printed products of proper quality are not subject to return.
  2. In case of purchase of a defective product, the Buyer has the right to choose a defective product:
    • Exchange it for another one of the same, of proper quality; or
    • Exchange it for a similar product with a partial surcharge or partial refund of the amount paid, depending on the cost of a similar product; or
    • Get a discount on a defective product, the amount of which is set by agreement of the parties; or
    • Return it and receive the money paid in full.
  3. A defective product is considered to have defects received during transportation (torn pages, compression, scuffs) or in which a printing defect is allowed (distortion of the text, significant loss of color, missing text fragments, inverted pages relative to the cover, crooked cut, incorrect gluing, etc.).
  4. According to the provisions of Articles 675-676 of the Civil Code of Ukraine, claims for polygraphic marriage are accepted within 6 months from the date of delivery of the goods to the Buyer.
  5. Claims for defects received during transportation are accepted until the moment of delivery of the goods to the Buyer.
  6. Claims for defective goods are addressed in a written application by e-mail [email protected] .
  7. The period for consideration of claims is up to 14 calendar days from the date of receipt of the claim.
  8. In case of satisfaction of the claimed claim:
    1. If the Buyer is located in Kiev:
      • A courier is sent to him to exchange goods. The buyer is obliged to hand over the defective goods and the receipt to the courier.
    2. If the Buyer is located outside the territory of Kiev:
      • The buyer independently sends the defective goods and the receipt to the store's address by mail or courier service. The cost of delivery of defective goods is compensated by crediting the corresponding amount to the buyer's personal account in the store.
  9. The method of refund of funds is similar to their receipt, unless otherwise agreed by the parties.
  10. In accordance with the requirements of the Tax Code of Ukraine, the Buyer undertakes to provide the Seller with a copy of the Buyer's passport and identification code in accordance with the requirements of the Law of Ukraine "On Personal Data Protection" for a refund.
  11. Electronic content (digital, electronic, audiobooks, etc.) is non-exchangeable and non-refundable.
  12. Goods that were sent outside of Ukraine are not subject to exchange or return.
