The next century belongs to the titans; the gods will continue to lose authority. Since later they will return anyway, as they always did, the twenty-first century - in a cult sense - can be considered as an intermediate link, an “interim”. "God has left." And the fact that Islam seems to be an exception in this sense should not deceive us: the point is not that it is above our time, but that - from a titanic point of view - it corresponds to it.

I don’t have any truly encouraging or even positive forecasts for the future. To express everything in one image, I would like to quote here Hölderlin, who wrote in “Bread and Wine” that the era of the titans is coming. In this future, the poet will be doomed to Sleeping Beauty's dream. Actions will become more important than the poetry that glorifies them, and than the thought that subjects them to reflection. That is, a time is coming that is favorable for technology and unfavorable for Spirit and culture.
