The sixth book covers the events of 1578–1585. This is the period when Akbar, already an established great ruler and talented commander, had to pacify the rebellions of the courtiers and his brother Muhammad Hakim Mirza, as well as carry out important reforms of government.
The text is supplemented by G. Beveridge’s introduction to the third volume of “Akbar” -name.”
