The fifth book covers the events of 1572 - 1578. This is one of the most eventful periods in Akbar’s life, when he fully demonstrated himself as a great ruler and talented commander. A significant place in the narrative is given to the steps that the padishah took to overcome the confrontation between representatives of different faiths and achieve “peace for all” - sulkh-i kull.
The text is supplemented with fragments from the outstanding set of documents “Ain-i- Akbari" ("Institutions of Akbar"), which will introduce readers to the organization of the army in the Mughal Empire. The publication is equipped with a detailed scientific commentary, illustrated with fragments of Indian miniatures and photographs of monuments created in the era of Akbar.
