The fourth book “Akbar-name” is a continuation of the grandiose work published for the first time in Russian, created in the 16th century by the vizier of the padishah Akbar - Abul Fazl Allami. The process of formation of the Mughal state is presented in the narration of episodes from the life of the great ruler against the backdrop of the historical development of medieval India.
The book is accompanied by a detailed scientific commentary, name and geographical indexes, illustrated with reproductions of unique Persian and Indian miniatures of the 15th–17th centuries from collections Russian National Library and St. Petersburg branch of the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
The text of the book was translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence program. For the most part, the translation of the text is of very high quality, but in some cases, due to the imperfection of the technology, there may be incorrect phrase translations in the text, as well as single words and expressions may not be translated.
