The issue of the magazine opens with a book of poems by the Polish poetess and Nobel Prize winner Wislawa Szymborska (1923–2012) “Enough.” The poem about the mirror reflecting the sky above the ruins of the city says that it “did its job flawlessly, / with professional dispassion.” Perhaps these words also apply to Szymborska’s style in Ksenia Staroselskaya’s translation.
The text of the book was translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence program. For the most part, the translation of the text is of very high quality, but in some cases, due to the imperfection of the technology, there may be incorrect phrase translations in the text, as well as single words and expressions may not be translated.
