The poem “Aeneid” by I. P. Kotlyarevsky has firmly entered the golden fund of Ukrainian classical literature. This is a comic burlesque poem[1] based on the poem of the same name by the Roman poet Virgil. The first work of art in the spoken Ukrainian language. The wonderful illustrations by A.D. are surprisingly harmoniously combined with the text of the poem. Bazilevich. They perfectly complement and emphasize the sincere folk flavor of the work and its humorous overtones. This edition contains 131 illustrations. The book contains active footnotes on Notes (comments) to the text of the poem.
