The poem “Aeneid” by I. P. Kotlyarevsky has firmly entered the golden fund of Ukrainian classical literature. This is a comic burlesque poem[1] based on the poem of the same name by the Roman poet Virgil. The first work of art in the spoken Ukrainian language.
