Відмінно передане передчуття майбутнього лиха та глибокий психологічний реалізм роблять цей роман незабутнім. Оруелл вміло поєднує сарказм з ліризмом, створюючи образи, які залишаються в пам'яті надовго. Читач відчуває, як герої борються за свою свободу та шукають сенс у світі, що змінюється. Рибалка, як єдине захоплення, стає символом втечі від реальності, і це додає глибини до сюжету. Хоча переклад тексту з використанням штучного інтелекту іноді має недоліки, загальне враження від книги залишається позитивним.
