This book is the story of the life and work of Boris Pasternak, reflected in his poetry, prose and letters. Excerpts from the memoirs of contemporaries are given. The materials were selected in order to show the creative process of creating the poet’s works based on the events of his life, how and from what “poems grow.” They reflected his thoughts and state of mind, which were simultaneously enshrined in Pasternak’s letters to various people and in his prose.
The text of the book was translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence program. For the most part, the translation of the text is of very high quality, but in some cases, due to the imperfection of the technology, there may be incorrect phrase translations in the text, as well as single words and expressions may not be translated.

Ця книга стала для мене справжнім відкриттям. Вона не лише розкриває життя та творчість видатного поета, а й дозволяє відчути його душу через вірші, прозу та листи. Автори вдало підібрали матеріали, що ілюструють творчий процес Пастернака, показуючи, як його особисті переживання та історичні події вплинули на його творчість. Особливо вразили уривки зі спогадів сучасників, які додали глибини та контексту до його життя. Хоча текст перекладено за допомогою штучного інтелекту, що іноді призводить до незначних недоліків у формулюваннях, загалом переклад дуже якісний і не заважає насолоджуватися змістом. Рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто цінує поезію та хоче краще зрозуміти генія Пастернака!
