“The Tale of Genji” (“Genji-monogatari”), the greatest monument of Japanese and world literature, was created at the turn of the 10th – 11th centuries, during the era of the formation and rapid flowering of Japanese culture. Its author is a court lady known as Murasaki Shikibu. This is the first time the monument has been published in Russian translation. Book 2 publishes the next chapters of the Tale.
The text of the book was translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence program. For the most part, the translation of the text is of very high quality, but in some cases, due to the imperfection of the technology, there may be incorrect phrase translations in the text, as well as single words and expressions may not be translated.

Хоча переклад з використанням штучного інтелекту має деякі недоліки, загалом він дозволяє зберегти дух оригіналу. Незважаючи на незначні помилки, книга все ще залишається доступною і зрозумілою для сучасного читача. Рекомендую цю повість всім, хто прагне зануритися в багатий світ японської культури та літератури!
