The author opens in the monograph a completely unexplored page of Russian culture of the Silver Age - the creative phenomenon of the writer and translator Evgenia Kazimirovna Gertsyk, whom N. Berdyaev called “one of the most remarkable women of the early 20th century, refined and cultural, imbued with the trends of the Renaissance era.” The author traces the spiritual path of her heroine, starting from childhood and adolescence and right up to life in the USSR. Автор майстерно досліджує творчість та життя Євгенії Казимирівни, надаючи читачеві можливість заглибитися в її світ, сповнений емоцій, творчих пошуків і культурних впливів. Особливо вражає, як автор зумів зібрати численні автобіографічні та епістолярні факти, створюючи цілісний образ цієї надзвичайної жінки. Відзначаю також, що текст книги, хоч і перекладений за допомогою штучного інтелекту, в цілому читається легко, хоча іноді трапляються незначні недоліки в перекладі. Проте це не зменшує цінності самої роботи. Рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто хоче дізнатися більше про видатних жінок своєї епохи та їхній внесок у культуру!
