The book presents Martin Heidegger’s seminal lecture “What is Metaphysics?” and chapters from a course of lectures on Nietzsche. Particular attention is invariably given to the very foundations of metaphysics, even when the discussion seems to be about something else, so the lectures give some insight into Heidegger's position and philosophy as a whole. Книга "Лекції про метафізику" є справжнім скарбом для тих, хто прагне зрозуміти основи філософії Мартіна Хайдеггера. Його лекція "Що таке метафізика?" відкриває нові горизонти розуміння буття та сенсу життя, спонукаючи читача до глибоких роздумів про своє існування. Автор майстерно поєднує складні концепції з доступними прикладами, що дозволяє навіть тим, хто не є експертом у філософії, знайти щось корисне для себе. Однак варто зазначити, що книга вимагає від читача не лише інтелектуального зусилля, але й емоційного залучення, адже філософія Хайдеггера не є легкою для сприйняття. Додаткова стаття Елізабет Ферстер-Ніцше про "Так сказав Заратустра" є приємним бонусом, що розширює контекст та глибину розуміння.
