The book contains notes and books about the Tula region of diplomats, travelers and scientists that were identified, from the 16th to the 18th centuries. You, through their eyes, look at our region and the people who lived on this land, our ancestors, at their affairs and concerns, evaluate the opinions of the authors and form your own. The book contains many descriptions of settlements of that time, roads, nature, and wildlife. Dilthey meticulously described the entire Tula region and district cities, starting with their coats of arms, the animal world and the occupation of the population. The plan of the city of Tula was published for the first time in 1768. This is a plan of the city before its radical restructuring according to the General Plan of 1779. Some surviving houses are recognizable on it and losses are visible that are not even mentioned anywhere. All this is waiting for its researchers. The book is intended for local historians, historians and a wide range of readers.
