The collection includes two novels, the focus of which is the fate and role of women in the society of the Scandinavian Middle Ages. One of the novels belongs to the pen of the Norwegian Nobel Prize winner Sigrid Undset (1882 - 1949), and the second - to continue the traditions of the famous compatriot, Vera Henriksen.
