Книга "Улав, син Аудуна з Хествікена" - це справжній шедевр, який переносить читача в середньовічну Норвегію, де розгортаються драматичні події, сповнені кохання, страждань та випробувань. Сігрід Унсет, лауреат Нобелівської премії, майстерно створює живі образи персонажів, які викликають симпатію та співчуття. Досліджуючи стосунки між Улавом та Інгунн, авторка порушує важливі теми про честь, вірність та силу людських почуттів. Хоча деякі моменти перекладу можуть бути не зовсім точними, це не заважає насолоджуватися глибиною сюжету та емоційною напругою. Книга залишає по собі відчуття завершеності та бажання дізнатися, що ж відбудеться далі в продовженні. Рекомендую всім, хто цінує якісну літературу та історичні саги!
