The Essays of Montaigne (1533–1592) is a work in form that is a free combination of notes, reflections, observations, examples and descriptions, anecdotes and quotations, combined into chapters. The titles of the chapters eloquently indicate their content: “On grief”, “On friendship”, “On solitude”, etc. “Experiments” is one of the remarkable monuments in which the humanistic ideals and freedom-loving ideas of the advanced culture of the French Renaissance were clearly reflected. the first volume of “Experiences” included the first book, including reflections of one of the wisest people of the Renaissance - Michel Montaigne - about how the same thing can be achieved in different ways, about grief, about the fact that our intentions are the judges of our actions, about idleness , about liars and much more.
