This book is the talks of Metropolitan Anthony of Sourozh (1914-2003), which he conducted in 1982 at the University of Kent as part of a reading dedicated to the memory of the Christian poet Thomas Eliot. Vladyka speaks of beauty and creativity, images and reality, ugliness and ugliness. This material is unique - it has never been fully published in Russia, and practically none of the numerous conversations of Metropolitan Anthony contains such a wide appeal to poetry and fine arts. Despite the topic, which seems to be far from theology, Vladyka fills it with the deepest theological content.
The text of the book was translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence program.
