Collection “Life and eternity. 15 Conversations on Death and Suffering” are conversations, excerpts from lectures, radio broadcasts, meetings of Metropolitan Anthony of Sourozh, in which he talks about such important and complex things as suffering and death, gives them a Christian understanding. Vladyka tells many vivid cases from his own life, when he, as a doctor and priest, met with death, talks about the fear of death, about the suffering of children, about the Judgment of God, dispels the attitude to death as “the worst thing that can happen to us.” Despite such a painful topic, there is a lot of light, consolation, hope and love in Vladyka's words. He talks about death and suffering in such a way that it becomes almost not scary to die and suffer.
