The collection includes stories by contemporary Chinese authors, whose Russian translations were recognized as the best according to the results of the International Translation Competition (Beijing, 2013). The writers whose works are published in the collection are among the recognized wordsmiths in China. Both young and experienced translators took part in the competition, and a quarter of the works were the fruit of joint creativity of Chinese and foreign participants.
