The new collected works of Genrikh Sapgir is an attempt not only to bring together most of what was written by the remarkable Russian poet and prose writer of the second half of the 20th century, but also to create some integral image of this unique (even for this period of our literature) universal writer. He not only wrote with equal pleasure for adults and for children, but also seemed to embody in words the Larionov-Goncharov concept of “everythingness”: a combination of all previously known ideas, manners and techniques of modern writing, at the same time radically avant-garde and extremely rooted in the deepest national tradition and conducting a constant provocative dialogue with it. In the third volume of the collection “Eyes in the Back of the Head,” Genrikh Sapgir appears as a direct heir to the avant-garde tradition, a poet who is not alien to the most daring artistic experiments on the boundaries of verse and prose, verbal and visual, sound and meaning.

Третій том "Очі на потилиці" є справжнім літературним шедевром, який демонструє багатогранність і глибину таланту автора. Сапгір вміло поєднує в собі елементи авангарду та традиційної російської літератури, створюючи унікальний стиль, який захоплює з перших рядків. Його вірші та прозові твори вражають своєю емоційною насиченістю і глибиною думки, змушуючи читача замислитися над важливими питаннями буття. Особливо вражає те, як автор майстерно грає зі словами, формуючи нові образи та метафори, які залишають слід у пам'яті. Хоча переклад тексту за допомогою штучного інтелекту в деяких місцях може бути не зовсім точним, це не зменшує загального враження від книги. Ця збірка стане справжнім подарунком для всіх, хто цінує поезію та літературу, і я б рекомендував її всім, хто хоче зануритися у світ творчості одного з найяскравіших представників російської літератури другої половини ХХ століття.
