After the victorious completion of the Battle of Kursk, the Red Army was faced with the task of liberating the territory of the Soviet Union from German occupation. However, the German troops had thoroughly strengthened their position in our country and had absolutely no intention of retreating without fighting. Then the Soviet command found an original solution, which consisted in alternately conducting offensive operations in different theaters of military operations. The German generals did not have time to strengthen their groups in a timely manner and suffered defeat after defeat. Three such not easy battles in Ukraine, Belarus and Crimea are described in this book.
