Pavlov, was tried by a military tribunal and shot. And three years later, it was the turn of the extermination of the front-line formations of the German army: in January-February 1945, the troops of the 1st Belorussian and 1st Ukrainian Fronts defeated Army Group A, and in April-May 1945, the combined forces of the 2nd and The 3rd Ukrainian Fronts put an end to Army Group South. And the German command no longer had any opportunity to correct their failures...
