This book is the last in a series of four books under the general title “Battlecruisers of England”. The book covers the history of the design, construction and combat service of the battlecruisers Koreas, Glories, Furies and Hood. The structure of the ships, their service, voyages, naval operations and battles of the Second World War, in which the last battlecruiser of England, the Hood, participated, are described in detail. The design history and tactical and technical data of unrealized battle cruiser projects in England in the period after the First World War are given.
