“Siesta for Two” is a collection of selected works by the classic of world literature, Argentine writer Julio Cortazar (1914 - 1984). This edition presents the most characteristic stories for the author, written in different years. With the exception of the stories “The Health of the Sick” and “The End of the Game,” all works are published in new translations, specially prepared for this edition. All translations that made up the book were made by Ella Vladimirovna Braginskaya .
The text of the book was translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence program. For the most part, the translation of the text is of very high quality, but in some cases, due to the imperfection of the technology, there may be incorrect phrase translations in the text, as well as single words and expressions may not be translated.
