The issue begins with stories by the Argentine classic Julio Cortazar (1914–1984) translated from Spanish by Pavel Grushko. The content and atmosphere of these, sometimes even short, short stories cannot be called ordinary: sometimes a charming Sylvia intrudes into the family life of several artistic couples, whose presence is noticeable only to the narrator and small children (“Sylvia”); then the hero clutters his own room with cardboard boxes - in order to better see the fly hovering under the ceiling with its paws up (“Witnesses”)...
