The name of the great Russian poet Valery Yakovlevich Bryusov (1873–1924), the leader of symbolism and literary reformer, is known to every educated person, but his biography appears for the first time. Кожна сторінка наповнена проникливими думками, які змушують замислитися про складність людської природи та творчості. Вражає, як автор зумів створити мозаїку з різних аспектів життя Брюсова, показуючи його як багатогранну особистість – від містика до раціоналіста, від імперіаліста до більшовика.
