“Menachem-Mendl. New Letters" is an unexpected continuation of the epistolary story "Menachem Mendel", one of the most famous works of Sholom Aleichem (1859–1916). In 1913, Sholom Aleichem wrote a column of political feuilletons in the Warsaw newspaper Gaint. The writer creates his feuilletons on the topic of Russian and international politics in the form of correspondence between Menachem-Mendl and his grumpy wife Sheina-Sheindl. The appendix contains letters from Menachem-Mendl, created by Sholem Aleichem in 1900–1904 and not included in the final edition of the story “ Menachem Mendel."
The text of the book was translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence program.
