“Wandering Stars” is the most famous work of the classic of world literature, the Jewish writer Sholom Aleichem, published in periodicals in 1910-1911. This is a novel about the wandering souls of actors, about touching love born of art. “Actors” is the first part of the novel, the main characters of which - the daughter of a poor cantor and the son of a local rich man, captivated by the performances of a traveling theater - flee from their homes to devote their lives to the stage. In “Wanderers,” the second part of the novel, its heroes, a singer and an actor, who after many years of wanderings became famous, finally meet in America, but only to part forever.

Книга «Блукаючі зірки» - це справжній шедевр, який переносить читача в епоху, коли театр був не лише розвагою, але й способом життя. Шолом Алейхем майстерно описує долі своїх героїв, їхні мрії та прагнення, які переплітаються з реаліями життя. Дочка бідняка кантора та син багатія, які прагнуть до сцени, стають символами боротьби за свої мрії та кохання, яке, на жаль, не завжди призводить до щасливого фіналу. Друга частина роману, «Скитальці», вражає глибиною емоцій та відчуттям втрати, коли герої, нарешті досягнувши успіху, знову зустрічаються, але вже в умовах, які не залишають їм шансів на щастя. Незважаючи на деякі недоліки в перекладі, які можуть відволікати, загальна атмосфера та глибина твору залишають незабутнє враження. Рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто цінує літературу, що торкається глибин людських почуттів і прагнень!
