“Wandering Stars” is the most famous work of the classic of world literature, the Jewish writer Sholom Aleichem, published in periodicals in 1910-1911. This is a novel about the wandering souls of actors, about touching love born of art. “Actors” is the first part of the novel, the main characters of which - the daughter of a poor cantor and the son of a local rich man, captivated by the performances of a traveling theater - flee from their homes to devote their lives to the stage. In “Wanderers,” the second part of the novel, its heroes, a singer and an actor, who after many years of wanderings became famous, finally meet in America, but only to part forever.
