Who's Your Enemy by Mordecai Richler, one of Canada's best-known writers, is a gripping novel of murder, suicide and the rivalry of two men in love with the same woman. And at the same time, this is a serious story about how Western intellectuals, adherents of “left” views (a significant part of them were Jews), cling to their ideals even after the exposure of Stalinism.

Глибока і провокаційна історія про людські стосунки
Роман "Хто твій ворог" Мордехая Ріхлера вражає своєю складною структурою та багатошаровістю. Автор майстерно поєднує елементи детективу з філософськими роздумами про ідеали та моральність, що робить його твір не лише захоплюючим, але й глибоким. Сюжет, що обертається навколо вбивства та суперництва двох чоловіків за серце однієї жінки, змушує читача замислитися про справжні цінності та межі людських почуттів. Однак, незважаючи на захоплюючий сюжет, варто зазначити, що переклад тексту, хоч і здебільшого якісний, іноді має недоліки, які можуть відволікати від читання. Це не зменшує загального враження від книги, але варто бути готовим до деяких мовних нюансів. Рекомендую цей роман всім, хто цінує глибокі психологічні портрети та складні стосунки між персонажами.
