Jake's search for an avenger brings him together with criminal types, which is why, due to absurd accidents, he ends up on trial. Thanks to the fusion of subtle lyricism, sparkling humor and caustic sarcasm, many critics consider The Horseman of the Rue Saint-Urban to be the writer's best novel.

Мордехай Ріхлер майстерно передає емоції головного героя Джейка, який, переживши жахи Голокосту, прагне знайти месника, що відплатить за страждання його народу.
