The ancient Greeks wisely suggested that the patrons of science and the arts must certainly be muses - women. Even then they noticed that love and passion are the most powerful of human feelings: a man captured by them discovers fearlessness, unprecedented willpower, imagination and hitherto dormant creative principles. Even when directed towards other, creative goals, this energy retains its divine properties and allows the creator to conquer previously unattainable heights. On the other hand, male talent is an extremely fragile and vulnerable thing. How many artists, poets or writers quit their creative path after the first failure? And how many of them are left in obscurity, in the shadow of their more talented brothers? Perhaps the reason is precisely that on their way they did not meet a woman who would fill them with the energy of creation, become a muse for them and allow them to reveal their hidden abilities to the world? At some point, each of them met the one who believed in him, supported and loved him, helped him overcome difficulties and inspired him to achieve achievements. Some found their muse at the very beginning, others only on the third or fourth try. One way or another, amazing coincidences can be traced: after meeting with these women, the masters created their best paintings, wrote their best books and made fundamental scientific discoveries, and after parting, they literally lost the source of energy for creativity.
