“Depth of the Sea” is the third part of the tetralogy by the famous Swedish writer Annika Thor. Based on real events, the story about little Jewish refugees taken from Austria to Sweden in 1939 brought the author several literary awards and the love of readers. The first two novels, “Island in the Sea” and “White Lily Pond,” have already been published by Samokat Publishing House, and the final novel, “The Open Sea,” is being prepared for publication. In 1999, the novel “Depth of the Sea” was awarded the August Strindberg Prize for the best book for children and teenagers.

«Глибина моря» — це не просто книга, а справжній емоційний досвід, який переносить читача у важкі часи Другої світової війни. Аніка Тор майстерно поєднує реальні події з вигаданими елементами, створюючи глибокий та зворушливий сюжет про маленьких біженок-єврейок, які шукають безпечне місце в світі, що розпадається. Авторка вміло передає страхи, надії та мрії своїх героїнь, а також показує силу дружби та підтримки в найскладніші часи. Книга написана простим, але в той же час вражаючим стилем, який робить її доступною для дітей та підлітків, але водночас має глибокий зміст, що торкається сердець дорослих читачів. Я не можу дочекатися виходу заключного роману «Відкрите море», адже ця тетралогія вже стала однією з моїх улюблених! Рекомендую всім, хто цінує літературу, що викликає емоції та змушує замислитися про важливі речі в житті.
