Correspondence with Odoevtseva arose from V.F. Markov as a kind of supplement to correspondence with G.V. Ivanov, which he began in October 1955. Since February 1956, Odoevtseva also begins to write to Markova, and correspondence with varying degrees of intensity has been ongoing for twenty years, especially actively in 1956–1961. The letters discuss the entire post-war literary life, and often first-hand. Of course, the features of the last years of G.V.’s life are of greatest interest. Ivanova.
