This volume contains articles written mainly in the period 1923 - 1926, when, after the end of the civil war, the party's attention could turn to issues of cultural construction. Beginning in 1923, these questions became the order of the day, as independent tasks of “an entire period of cultural development of the entire mass of the people” (Lenin). In addition to articles directly related to the problems of the culture of the transition period, this volume also includes articles devoted to issues of the quality of the press, economic construction, the state apparatus, etc., since these issues are considered from the point of view of the cultural revolution.
