This volume contains articles written mainly in the period 1923 - 1926, when, after the end of the civil war, the party's attention could turn to issues of cultural construction. Beginning in 1923, these questions became the order of the day, as independent tasks of “an entire period of cultural development of the entire mass of the people” (Lenin).
