The program for teaching psychology in educational institutions that train specialists in physical education and sports has long been outdated. Its main drawback is that this program does not equip future sports figures with practical skills that allow them to use in the training and competitive process many of the capabilities of the human psyche to solve certain specific problems. The proposed “Course of Practical Psychology and Psychohygiene” is designed to solve just this problems, and in a very short time - in 16 academic hours. Our experience suggests that the Course is more appropriate for graduates who are on the verge of independent activity to read. They must know how to train not only the physical capabilities of the body, but also the main human apparatus - his brain.
