The publication includes ten Irish myths, revised and recorded by the original Irish writer James Stevens. In his talented presentation, these ancient legends acquired an original style and were filled with vivid metaphors. Using these texts by Stevens, it is still interesting to get acquainted with the folklore of Ireland. Their translation from English was made by S. Yu. Afonkin. At the end of the book there is a biography of Stevens and a short essay about the work of the famous British artist Arthur Rackham, whose drawings adorn this publication.
