The familiar words "space", "time", "knowledge", taken in this order, tend to escape in their meaning. From a common sense perspective, “space” is identified with continuous extension, considered either as emptiness or as that which contains things, be it a speck of dust, a cluster of galaxies, or even the universe as a whole. “Time” is vaguely interpreted as the passage from past to future, or as the medium in which events are directed so that we speak of the flow or passage of time, or of our awareness being carried in and through time. But such an interpretation contains too many contradictions to serve any useful purpose. With “knowledge” the situation is even “worse”; it can be correlated with a sense of intimacy, familiarity that comes as a result of experience, also with the level of information of the individual, with theoretical and practical understanding, and in the case of a philosophically minded person - with what is not an opinion. But this subtle difference between knowledge and opinion immediately turns into a real threat to the familiar, since our acquaintance with things may turn out to be nothing more than an opinion, which knowledge is supposed to conquer and overcome. But what if victory is nothing more than another opinion in a mask?
