The first volume of the encyclopedic publication “Spiritual Culture of China” is devoted to the history of Chinese philosophy from ancient times to the present day. It consists of three sections. The general section contains articles and essays that reflect the main themes and problems of Chinese philosophy. The Dictionary section presents terms of Chinese philosophy, monuments of philosophical thought, philosophical schools and directions, doctrines, ideological movements, movements, societies, personalities of Chinese philosophers. The reference section includes indexes, a thematic bibliography, maps of China from different eras, a chronological table, as well as a list of the volume's authors, listing the articles they wrote, and a list of the main sources of illustrations.
