Giorgio Agamben (b. 1942) is an eminent Italian philosopher, author of works on political and moral philosophy, professor University of Venice IUAV, European School of Postgraduate Studies, International College of Philosophy in Paris and the University of Maserata (Italy), as well as visiting professor at several American universities.
