Jean Cocteau is a truly unique figure of Western European art of the 20th century: poet and prose writer, playwright and screenwriter, critic and art theorist, “The White Book” is very autobiographical - a beautiful, sad and sensual story, in the surroundings of the 20s of the last century. From the first moments of realizing my sexuality as atypical, through attempts to “get back on the right path,” several loves and tragedies, to a not very happy outcome.
