Gaston Leroux is a classic detective and mystical novel. For more than a century, films and TV series, plays and musicals have been staged based on his books. The book also includes an additional chapter to The Phantom of the Opera, which was never translated into Russian, and was included in the first edition of the novel.

Гастон Леру майстерно переплітає елементи готичної романтики з захоплюючими детективними сюжетами, що робить читання неймовірно захоплюючим. "Привид Опери" знову відкриває свої таємниці, а додатковий розділ, який ніколи раніше не перекладався, додає нових барв до вже знайомої історії. Особливо вражає "Таємниця Жовтої кімнати", яка дійсно заслуговує на статус класики, адже інтрига тримає в напрузі до самого кінця. Хоча переклад іноді має деякі недоліки, загальна якість тексту та емоційна напруга, яку передає автор, повністю компенсують це. Рекомендую всім, хто хоче зануритися в атмосферу загадок та таємниць!
