Robert Penget (1920-1997) - French avant-garde artist, novelist and playwright, best known as a representative of the “new novel”. The novel “Inquiry” is perhaps the most significant work of Penget, in which he summarized his creative searches. This is, first of all, a stylistic and grammatical experiment, a strange narrative without beginning or end, without a plot core, any organized plot, and even practically without punctuation marks. This is a virtual world inhabited by people who are like us: smart and stupid, cheerful and sad, happy and not so happy. And it is born not in the memory of some super-powerful computer, but in the imagination of an elderly and, at first glance, simple-minded person. And in order to lure you into this world, to make it familiar and close, the author uses a cunning trick - a pseudo-detective intrigue.
The text of the book was translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence program. For the most part, the translation of the text is of very high quality, but in some cases, due to the imperfection of the technology, there may be incorrect phrase translations in the text, as well as single words and expressions may not be translated.

Вражаючий експеримент у світі літератури!
Роман "Дізнання" Робера Пенже - це справжня знахідка для тих, хто цінує літературу як мистецтво. Автор майстерно грає зі словами, створюючи текст, який немов би виходить за межі традиційного розуміння роману. Відсутність чіткої сюжетної лінії та розділових знаків на перший погляд може відштовхнути, але насправді це лише підкреслює глибину і складність твору. Пенже запрошує читача у віртуальний світ, де кожен персонаж відображає різноманітність людської природи. Цей роман - не просто книга, а справжня подорож у свідомість, де кожен знайде щось своє. Незважаючи на деякі недоліки в перекладі, які, безумовно, можуть вплинути на сприйняття, загальне враження від твору залишається надзвичайно позитивним. Рекомендую всім, хто готовий до нових літературних викликів і бажає поринути у світ авангардної прози!
