“Silver Age” is a unique collection of literary portraits of cultural heroes of the late 19th – early 20th centuries (poets, writers, artists, musicians, representatives of the theatrical world, philanthropists, collectors, etc., more than seven hundred and fifty people in total), compiled from memoirs contemporaries. The genre of the book has no analogues, it can be used as a reference publication, at the same time it has a certain artistic unity that allows us to consider the whole as a kind of postmodern historical novel. The book is addressed to all lovers of Russian culture of the Silver Age.
