"David of Sasun" is a medieval Armenian epic that tells the story of the struggle of heroes from Sasun (a region in historical Armenia, now in Turkey) against Arab invaders. It took shape in the 7th–10th (not later than the 13th) centuries. The epic consists of four branches. The first is Sanasar and Baghdasar, the second is Mher the Elder, the third is David, the fourth is Mher the Younger.
The text of the book was translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence program. For the most part, the translation of the text is of very high quality, but in some cases, due to the imperfection of the technology, there may be incorrect phrase translations in the text, as well as single words and expressions may not be translated.
