Israel through the eyes of a Russian is a book that was written over the course of seven years, first by a tourist who wanted to see the biblical lands and was confident that two weeks would be enough for him to do this, and then for six years by a person who came here as a person fascinated by the power of the ancient culture of Israel and the energy of his life today. Accordingly, what they saw was described - not only through the eyes of a tourist, but partly through the eyes of an “occasional resident” of this country. The author is grateful to fate for an albeit short, but each time exceptionally vivid and memorable experience of life in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Haifa, in the Tekoa settlement in the “territories”, as well as for the opportunity to observe up close the life of the Israeli artistic elite.

Неймовірна подорож в Ізраїль через слова автора!
Книга "Дорожній іврит" стала для мене справжнім відкриттям. Автор майстерно передає атмосферу Ізраїлю, його культурну спадщину та сучасне життя, спостерігаючи за всім цим не лише з позиції туриста, а й як людина, яка закохалася в цю країну. Протягом семи років він ділиться своїми враженнями від відвідування біблійних місць, знайомства з місцевими жителями та занурення в художнє життя. Його описи настільки живі та емоційні, що я відчувала, ніби сама мандрую цими землями. Хоча в тексті є деякі недоліки в перекладі, це не заважає насолоджуватися чудовими історіями та роздумами автора. Рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто цікавиться Ізраїлем, його культурою та історією, адже вона відкриває нові горизонти і спонукає до роздумів про життя в цій унікальній країні.
