Книга "Новий рік у жовтні" Андрія Молчанова - це справжня перлина радянської літератури, яка відкриває перед читачем унікальний світ молодого вченого Олексія Прошина. Автор сміливо досліджує складні моральні та етичні дилеми, з якими стикається головний герой, відкидаючи комуністичні цінності, але водночас використовуючи їх для досягнення своїх цілей. Цей роман не лише захоплює своєю інтригуючою сюжетною лінією, але й змушує задуматися про ідеали, які ми сповідуємо, та про ціну, яку ми готові заплатити за свої переконання. Особливо вражає те, як Молчанов зумів передати дух часу, відобразивши побут і сподівання радянської молоді в період застою. Я вважаю, що ця книга повинна бути в бібліотеках кожного, хто цікавиться історією та культурою радянського періоду. Хоча переклад тексту може мати деякі недоліки, загальна якість роботи над книгою вражає. Рекомендую всім, хто хоче зануритися в атмосферу того часу та зрозуміти складність людських відносин у суспільстві, що переживало зміни!
